Careful if you have star polyps.  Peppermints will eat them along with your aptasia

Shrimp might be my best option,  I'll try them again and hope for the best..  I'm about ready to boil alot of rocks if I can't get rid of them and start over  Cry

Most shrimp are short lived, they have a life span of 6-12 months.

My experience is that shrimp have always worked for me, but you need lots of them to get the job done. I had a bad Aptasia outbreak in my 35 gallon nano tank about 6 months ago. I added 6 peppermint shrimp and all the Aptasia were gone within 3 weeks.

If you have any small anemones or the popular yellow colonial anemones, both peppermint shrimp and berghias will eat those too.

I don't know of anyone, but if you have an Aptasia problem, I've always used peppermint shrimp with great success.
