It is from a digital microscope.  You can get them for under $60.

My son is working on his Oceanography merit badge.  We bought a digital microscope to look at samples from Beaver Lake.  I thought it would be fun to look at stuff from the filter sock of my reef tank.  This is an amphipod.  I have a mandarin that lives off a healthy population of these.
