Steel, well's over 200tf deep I forget how deep the casing goes. It's all rusty so it could be a crack or hole.

It might be a crack or a hole in the casing. Is the casing steel or PVC?

I chose turbidity, sometimes my well water gets cloudy and when I do a water change it takes a few hours for that stuff to filter out. The joys of red clay, even with a whole house filter there's just enough that gets through to make my tank look cloudy.
